At our Brescia University College campus, from their website https://brescia.uwo.ca/covid19/phased_return.php, Brescia will be following Western’s protocols for phased re-opening: https://www.uwo.ca/coronavirus/updates/sept17.html
The CultureWorks accommodation plans have been developed using our campus hosts (Carleton University and Brescia University College at Western U), as guides. All CultureWorks students have the option of starting or continuing their studies online while in quarantine.
Studies include weekly general assemblies for the entire school, as well as regular online social networking opportunities, games, and one-on-one check ins with the Student Services Coordinator.
Students will be required to submit their quarantine plan including the ability to be provided with all the necessities of life. 3 meals per day, a private living space, non-medical face covering or masks, and contact information are required components of this plan.
Students choosing to work with Maple Assist will be provided with these elements: https://www.mapleassist.com/
All students will receive the CultureWorks care package. A pre-departure COVID review will be available for all students upon confirmation of their pre-arrival plans. In addition, directed messaging around health and safety has been integrated into our communication processes.
