No CultureWorks students will be offered residence quarantining at this time. Students may choose whether to arrange transportation, accommodation, and meals with Maple Assist, or submit their own plan.
Students will receive a pre-arrival information package, required to attend a pre-departure Zoom meeting with translation (parents may attend as well), and will receive a care package at their place of quarantine. The care package will contain snacks, required information from the MLHU or OPH, non-medical face masks, gloves, hand sanitizer, and additional contact supports.
Students will be contacted daily by CultureWorks staff, and invited to commence or continue their studies online. https://www.who.int/docs/default-source/coronaviruse/covid19-stigma-guide.pdf will be addressed in the pre-departure sessions, as well as on an ongoing basis with students during weekly General Assemblies and in classes.
