Refund Policy

CultureWorks Refund Policy Effective May 1st, 2021

Incoming Students
A deposit of $1200.00 is payable upon acceptance to the program. 

The $1200 deposit amount shall be applied to the first term of study and deducted from the invoice amount for that first term. The deposit will be deemed to be fully earned upon commencement of the first day of the term of study and will be non-refundable after that date. If an incoming student withdraws from the program by providing written notice via email to the Admissions Department (admissions@cultureworkstheschool.com)  by 4pm on the Friday of the first week, then the sum total of tuition paid less the deposit amount of $1200 will be refundable to the student.

A cancellation received in writing (admissions@cultureworkstheschool.com) prior to the start of the term will result in all  monies refunded with a $500 non-refundable administration fee being deducted. If a travel visa request has been refused, the non-refundable administrative fee will be reduced to $200 and deducted from the refund. Please note that proof of the travel  visa refusal is required.

Deferred starts
Incoming students who defer their start date will have their deposits held and applied to their deferred first term of study. The maximum number of deferrals allowed will be three (3) and, if after 3 deferrals, a student has not commenced their studies or applied for a refund, then the full deposit amount of $1,200.00 shall be applied as payment for all services and work completed by CultureWorks and deemed fully earned at that time.

In order to apply for a refund, all students are required to submit their notice to cancel in writing via email to the Admissions Department (admissions@cultureworkstheschool.com).There will be a $500 non-refundable administrative fee deducted from the refund. If a travel visa request has been refused, the non-refundable administrative fee will be reduced to $200 and deducted from the refund. Please note that proof of the travel  visa refusal is required.

Current Students
If you choose to leave the program, written notice of withdrawal must be given to the Admissions Department (admissions@cultureworkstheschool.com) prior to the start of of the term, failure to notify prior to the start of the term will result in forfeiture of the full tuition paid for the current term. For withdrawals past the term start date students that are unable or ineligible to continue for reasons beyond the students control (interpretation of which will be at the absolute and sole discretion of CultureWorks) a refund request is to be made to through the Admissions Department (admissions@cultureworkstheschool.com). 

Any deposit received by CultureWorks for terms in advance of the current term will be refunded by applying to the Admissions Department (admissions@cultureworkstheschool.com).

Refunds will be paid within 30 days of receipt of appropriate refund information less an administration charge of $500 and any fees incurred when submitting through intermediary agencies such as a bank or credit card company.

Important Notice: Effective immediately any funds paid by Credit Card will only be refunded back to the same credit card.
