  • 1998

    CultureWorks is founded.

    1998

    CultureWorks partners with King's University College at Western University (Western) to provide EAP for international students: the first private-public partnership of its kind in Canada.

  • 1999

    CultureWorks begins student scholarship program.

  • 2001

    CultureWorks partners with Brescia University College at Western.

  • 2004

    The School of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies invites CultureWorks to send students to Masters and PhD programs at Western.

  • 2007

    CultureWorks becomes an Associate Member of the Canadian Bureau for International Education.

  • 2008

    CultureWorks partners with the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT).

    2008

    CultureWorks becomes Languages Canada accredited.

  • 2009

    CultureWorks begins accepting students for Western University.

    2009

    On behalf of the Saudi Arabian Cultural Bureau, CultureWorks negotiates placement of students in undergraduate and graduate programs based on completion of the CultureWorks EAP program.

    2009

    China Scholarship Council asks CultureWorks to negotiate placement of Chinese students with partner universities based on completing CultureWorks' EAP program.

    Tina Bax, President, is nominated for the 2009 Royal Bank of Canada Canadian Woman Entrepreneur Award.

  • 2010

    CultureWorks partners with Durham College, which shares a campus with UOIT in Oshawa.

    2010

    CultureWorks team expands to China and Saudi Arabia.

  • 2011

    Western's Richard Ivey School of Business begins offering CultureWorks students Advanced Entry Opportunity to the Honors Business Administration program.

  • 2012

    CultureWorks partners with Carleton University in Ottawa.

    CultureWorks funds Jason Edmonds Memorial Scholarship awarded annually at HS Beal Secondary School.

  • 2013

    10 year sponsor of King's Annual Cultural Festival.
