Student Services Coordinator & Administrative Assistant
CultureWorks ESL is seeking a skilled Student Services Coordinator & Administrative Assistant for its Ottawa campus at Carleton University. Established in 1998, CultureWorks is a private language school focusing on English for Academic Purposes, with additional locations in London at Brescia University College, King’s University College, and Western University and in Oshawa at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology and Durham College.
Reporting to the Director, the Student Services Coordinator & Administrative Assistant position is full-time with benefits, and remuneration will be based on experience.

Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to Director and Registrar
- Act as first point of contact for all students and visitors
- Assist students with questions relating to their studies, accommodations, visa extensions, medical insurance claims, and other areas related to international student life
- Manage and maintain all matters pertaining to student files
- Plan, coordinate, and budget student activities
- Assist with collection of student payments
- Liaise effectively with staff, students, and CultureWorks partners
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of training and experience
- 3 years of experience working as an Office Administrator or Customer Service Representative
- Experience providing excellent customer service to a culturally diverse student population
- Well-organized, able to multitask, and handle high cycles of workload
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite and database management
- Demonstrated commitment to accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Vehicle and valid driver’s license
