Fast Track, at Carleton University, is a fast-track English program to have you earning university credits in 6 weeks!

Fast Track is intended for students who are slightly below the minimum ESL requirements to be admitted directly to Carleton for degree studies in September. In partnership with CultureWorks ESL, Carleton will conditionally admit students to study in this intensive ESL program if they present the minimum required proficiency scores of:

• IELTS (minimum 6.0 with no band lower than 5.5)
• TOEFL (minimum 75 with a 21 in Writing, and no band lower than 19)
• CAEL (minimum 60 with no band lower than 50)
• PTE Academic (minimum 54 with no communicative skill lower than 54)
