1. Climb to the Top: ESL Students Can Visit Fun Adventure Centres

In the summer, most of Canada is sunny and warm. This beautiful weather is perfect for day trips to adventure activity centres in cities like Ottawa and London, Ontario.

Brave students try rock-climbing, hiking, zip lining, go-kart racing, and more. These activities can be a nice break from your ESL studies, and a great opportunity to take some pictures.

2. You Can Visit Toronto While You Study at a Canadian ESL School

Did you know that Toronto is the biggest city in Canada? Toronto is also one of the most diverse cities in the world, full of 2.8 million people from many different cultures.

In Toronto, ESL students can see:

• The CN Tower
• Ripley’s Aquarium
• The Art Gallery of Ontario
• The Royal Ontario Museum (or “ROM”)

You can find very beautiful local animals native to Canada, like monarch butterflies and Blue Jays (the birds Toronto’s baseball team is named after!). But while you study in Canada, you can also see animals like lions, tigers, giraffes, monkeys, and elephants in Canadian zoos.
